~My Review~
This being Kat Cazanav’s first book, I just have to say that she did a great job! I love mysteries, and this book kept me on my toes, the entire time! I kept guessing at who did it! “No he did it!” “Wait no, she did it” Kept repeating that in my head the whole time Hahaha
Poppy- 22 yr. old, P.I. Intern for her family’s firm. She takes her internship very seriously. But the one thing that sets her apart from other P.I’s, she can smell dead bodies. I don’t mean the nasty smell that you cannot get out of your nose. When dead bodies are near, Poppy smells roses. Every. Time. Walking to work, she smells roses, when she follows the smell, she finds a dead body in a body of water. But all of sudden she is the suspect in a string of murders.
Montrose- A twenty something detective, who is working the case. He finds himself attracted to Poppy, he wants to help her. He knows she didn’t do but, he can’t help to be suspicious. After everything gets twisted, his life and Poppy’s life is in danger!!!!!
