Hell Transporter Blurb:

Aiden MacRae has been given a new life after being stuck transporting souls to heaven for the last three hundred years. He doesn't know the culture, the times or the slang, but there is one thing he does know: he didn't come forward alone.

The master of hell has other plans for the Scottish Highlander and has sent a transporter of his own to get the deed done. Will Lindsey be able to save him or get caught in the crossfire?

Even In Darkness Blurb:

I thought it was over, that all our troubles were behind us.

We had a fairytale castle wedding surrounded by family and friends. Aiden wore a dress kilt, looking so handsome it made my heart squeeze, and I floated on air in a white version of the ball gown he’d cast for me in Versailles. Flower girl, ring bearer, Scottish ceilidh afterward—check, check, and check. It was perfect.
We were supposed to live happily ever after.
But that was before I walked in to find another woman in his bed, a demon with blood red eyes who’d disguised herself as me in order to get what she wanted most: a child from a heaven transporter.
And it was in that moment—watching my entire world crumble to the ground—that I knew.
This was not over. Not by a long shot.

Excerpt:

Alright we were supposed to do an excerpt from Even In Darkness but unfortunately neither one of us has had the chance to make it too book 3 so in that case we are going to share with you an excerpt from Hell Transporter :) hope you enjoy lol this one made us laugh *shakes head*

He blinked a couple of times and his gaze dropped to my hand as I pulled a small box out of the bottom of the cart. "Trojan." Aiden read the label out loud "What kind of food is in that wee box? Candy?" So much for burying it under the other groceries, I thought. I dropped the condoms on the counter and studied the floor, my cheeks burning hot. The cashier's boisterous laugh made me snap my head up and she gave me a knowing grin, wiggling her eyebrows. "Yeah, candy's just about right. But if you were planning on eating them, you should have gotten the fruit flavored ones. They're my favorite"

About the author:

Cyndi Tefft lives with her family in the Pacific Northwest where the weather is overcast and rainy, much like the Highlands of Scotland. So she was right at home when she got the chance to visit Eilean Donan Castle.

A self-proclaimed Scot freak, she loved every bit about the trip to Scotland: the people, the kilts, the accents, the fish & chips, the haggis...well okay, not the haggis.

Synopsis:

Sometimes the hardest war to fight is the one raging within yourself…

Life will never be the same for Nariella Woodlinn. Just when she thought she had it all figured out, her world comes crumbling down around her-yet again. With no idea who she is or even where she came from, how can she save herself?
She once thought her biggest problems were the ones brought on by the mysterious man she refused to fall in love with—Mycah. But she quickly discovers none of that compares to what she is about to encounter next.
This time, it isn’t because of who Mycah is.
This time, it’s because of who she is.
~

Naminé risked everything to save her people. Her goal was to bring their only hope back to their Kingdom. As the war rages on around her, Naminé gets thrown into the lion’s den—the false King’s chambers. Can she fool a King who can’t be deceived on his playing field? Forced to do his bidding, can she prevent the downfall of the only hope she worked so hard to bring home? Will she be able to escape with her life and mind intact?

With everyone’s world falling apart and deceit around every corner…can any of them truly Escape?

Alright peeps *squeals* I got to interview the amazing hotties Mycah & Rydan from the upcoming book Sweet Escape by Bailey Ardisone *happy dance* please sit where ever you’d like.

(fan art by me Megan Elliott)

Mycah: Thank you, love. It's a pleasure to be here.

Rydan: Hey.

*clears throat* alright guys *looks at you both and smiles* has the relationship between the both of you gotten better? *looks at Rydan and giggles* do you still throw punches at Mycah*

Rydan: Uh...Yeah, It's gotten better I guess. He's still annoying and bossy as hell. But whatever.

Mycah: A lot less punching is involved, I am happy to report. *chuckle*

*Frowns at Mycah* So I’ve heard rumors that I’m not going to like you much in this book….should I get ready to buy a punching bag and not talk to you on twitter for a bit?*wink*

Mycah: That is very possible. Yes, you may want to do that. *laughs*

*smiles and blushes* So Rydan seeing as you are a very mysterious person can you at least share what your favorite color is?

Rydan: You think I'm mysterious? I dunno. I don't really have a favorite...but I guess black? haha

Mycah: Well that's depressing...

Rydan: Shut it.

*Mischievous look on my face* Sweet Mycah, what are some of your talents or hobbies? And please don’t tell me making girls turn to mush around you hahah

Mycah: I would never say that. You'll get to see one of my talents in Sweet Escape, so I'll keep that under wraps for now. ;) But as far as hobbies go, I love reading. The art of literature enraptures me, and I find my nose always stuck in a book.

Rydan: *rolls eyes*

So Rydan, you and Nari are really good friends, so how are you handling seeing them together? *points to Mycah and looks at you with sympathy* Does it feel like you lost her in some ways?

Rydan: It's hard for me because I'm used to being her only support system. I was the one she always came to for everything. Then she wasn't at our spot as much, and yeah...it was because of this British perv over here. I kinda feel I've lost her, but at the same time I'm happy for her.

Mycah: Why must you refer to me as a pervert constantly? I am nothing of the sort.

Rydan: Yeah, yeah. Whatever.

*smiles brightly* so Mycah silly random question what’s your favorite animal? And why?

Mycah: My favourite animal, love? Dragons, of course.

Rydan seeing as you love music, do you have a favorite group/band? If so who are they? Also what is your favorite song?*curious look*

Rydan: Hell, I have so many favorites. That's a really hard question. I have like...three ipods full. Uh...I guess I'd have to say Thrice and Much the Same...or Senses Fail. I dunno. Ok, I CANNOT pick a favorite song...are you kidding? Waayyy too many to name.

***THIS NEXT QUESTION CONTAINS SPOILERS*** Do not read if you have NOT read the first book, "Sweet Oblivion"

*Serious look* this question has been bugging me since I read the first book, if Mycah is a Night Elf does that mean you are too Rydan? *looks at both Mycah and Rydan*

Mycah: If you know the connection between Rydan and I, then surely you know the answer to that, love. ;)

Rydan: Don't remind me...*shakes head*

*smiles brightly* Mycah how do you handle all the craziness for all the fan girls? Does it every drive you crazy? And Rydan did you know you have a lot of fans?

Mycah: I don't know what you're talking about, darling. ;)

Rydan: Huh? I have what?

*looks at both of you* One last question before you both run off, can you tell us a little bit about what will happen in book two?

Mycah: Discovery. Loyalties will be tested. War. You'll be sent on a journey where you might question whether good will come out of it, or if evil will be left to reign.

Rydan: All thanks to you, buddy. Yeah, and there might be a little love and heartache mixed in...

Thank you both so much for coming out and having a chat today it really meant a lot *hugs Mycah and shakes Rydan’s hand*

Mycah: No, thank you, love. We appreciate you chatting with us. *kisses your hand*

Rydan: Yeah, thanks. See ya.

Interview with the dashing Jonathan Draper

Posted by BookGroupies 2 comments

*squeal* alright peeps we had the great honor of interviewing Jonathan Draper from the ever amazing book Mythology by Helen Boswell.
Welcome Jonathan thanks you for taking time out of your busy schedule to come have a chat with Jazzy and I, please sit where ever you’d like.

Thank you, my dears. My schedule may indeed be busy, but I am quite glad to have the break and spend time with both of you. *sits between you both*
Meg-*looks at you excitedly and clears throat* Alright for your first question, what’s it like to be immortal and do you ever get bored of it?
Immortality is like being frozen in time with the world continuing to move around you. I refuse to let myself succumb to boredom, though. With the world continuing to move, I take advantage of learning new things and have spent my fair share of time attending various universities… though I do tend to be a bit picky about what classes I take and what new developments I accept.  You won’t find me majoring in computer science… Bring on the jokes. *winks*
Jazzy- *Laughing*Alright Jonathan give it up who’s your plastic surgeon…but with all joking aside what is it that you miss most about being human and why?
Oh, it has been so many years that I cannot remember specifics of what it was like to feel human. But if I was forced to choose one thing, I would say that I miss the connections that I had with certain humans. Believe it or not, I actually had quite a few friends back in the old days. And a wife, as you know. And a daughter.
Meg-*grins* alright mister artsy over there seeing as you own an art gallery and all have you always been artistic?
Not always, no. I see you look surprised, but I did not develop the appreciation for art until I began contemplating my own immortality. I enjoy capturing people in time, just as I am captured in this moment of my youth… *clears throat* no joking about the “youth” part.
Jazzy- So seeing as you speak both English and French are there any other languages that you know? If so what are they?
I am fairly fluent in most European languages and have a rudimentary ability to communicate in Japanese and Chinese.
Meg- So Jonathan seeing as you aren’t big on the modern times, especially the technical aspects of it, is there anything from this century you do like?
Now, I realize you are poking fun of me a little, my dear. While it is true that I despise most modern modes of communication, this is merely because I find them to be impersonal. However, I do believe you are forgetting about my state-of-the-art car, and I cannot even remember how many songs I currently have on my MP3 player. Give the old guy some credit, shall we? *chuckle*
Jazzy-*looks at you seriously* If you could go back in time and change on thing what would it be and why?
I would change one specific event that occurred just after my transformation to guardian, but I am afraid that I cannot elaborate on one that is. *dodges the glares* I do apologize, but my author needs you to wait for book three for me to disclose this information.
Meg- *giggles and blushes* okay really embarrassing question but we are curious about this, seeing as you are sort of the “undead” can you still produce offspring?
Ah, your questions are becoming more bold, are they not? Guardians may not produce offspring, at least that’s how the theory goes. But considering that we live forever, this is probably a good thing for the overpopulation issues currently in the world.
Jazzy- We all know you are protective over Hope *gives you a funny look* but has there ever been any other humans you have felt this protective over or this close to?
*gives you an equally funny look* I am sorry that I cannot tell you why during this interview, but I do have a very good reason of why I am protective of Hope…  And yes, there was one other human who I felt this protective over, but she was only mortal after all.
Meg- *grinning like a fool* so Jonathan *bats eyelashes* is there anything top secret you can tell us about yourself? We promise to take it to the grave with us *crosses heart*
Now, my dears, while I do fail to understand the significance of such things like blogging and social media, I am not so naïve about the internet to think that anything that I tell you during this interview shall remain top secret. *smiles and crosses arms*
Jazzy- Now we all know you are a guardian angel of sorts but what makes you scream like a little girl?*raises eyebrow and laughs* what are you afraid of?
*laughs* I beg your pardon? Would you think me an arrogant ass for me to say that I am afraid of commitment? To clarify, I had to cope with outliving everyone I loved once already, and I honestly have no desire to go through that again.
Meg- Seeing as you are old and everything and I’m not sure if you can remember this far back *bursts out laughing* I kid I kid *wipes tears* what was your first demon hunt like?
Ah, the old jokes never get old, do they?.... I remember it vividly. It was in Amiens (my place of birth), and there was much bloodshed. I did not realize until later that I could have destroyed the demon solely with my powers and minus the bloodshed. *smiles in remembrance* Still, it was a good hunt.
And now from the both of us and all the other lovely Jonathan fans out there boxers or briefs?
Oh, dear lord. Is nothing sacred? Boxer briefs.
Thank you so much for coming today it was lots of fun *smiles brightly* we truly appreciated it.
Meg- *hugs you* thank Jonathan, it was nice seeing you
Jazzy- *smiles* yes thank you for coming
*bows and kisses each of your hands* It was indeed my pleasure. I shall see you again in the pages very, very soon. I do hope you enjoy reading MYTHOLOGY: THE WICKED. Oh, and I do apologize in advance for my behavior. *grins mischievously*

*sigh* mister secretive is clearly not letting anything slip :p well we tried the best we could to crack some info out of him :) we hope all of you enjoyed this interview xo

Wendy Higgins and Kaidan Rowe Interview

Posted by BookGroupies 6 comments
Hey Everyone!!! We had the chance to interview Wendy Higgins author of The Sweet Trilogy and the swoon-worthy Kaidan Rowe!!!! *insert fan girl scream*

*happy dance* ok peeps we got the greatest privilege ever!!! We had the amazing honor of interview the lovely and talented Wendy Higgins and *drum roll* KAIDAN ROWE *faints* please enjoys J

Megan & Jazzy- Thank you so much for finding the time to come chat with us, it truly means a lot, please have a seat anywhere you’d like.

Wendy- Thanks for having us! *sits in a chair*

Kaidan- *grinning, sits right between Jazzy and Meg*

Jazzy- *leans closer to you to whisper* So Wendy tell me what is it like to be around Kai all the time? *takes a peek his way and winks*

Wendy- It’s like having somebody constantly in your bubble…only you don’t mind. Instead of being creepy it’s, well, the opposite. And having his voice in my head is a bit unnerving for many reasons.

Meg- *blushes and gives you a serious look* So Kai what’s it like to have everyone know your story? Do you have to go out in disguise so women don’t throw themselves at your feet?

Kaidan- No disguises for me. At least not for that purpose. Why would I hide from women throwing themselves at me? I say, bring it on, ladies. *winks and laughs*

Jazzy- *stammer* we made brownies would you guys like some? *holds out brownies* and *looks coyly at Kai* So Kaidan what’s your favorite song you’ve recorded?

Kaidan- *takes brownie* Thank you. *bites seductively* I quite enjoyed recording “Good Thing” - lots of angsty emotion in that one.

Meg- *smiles* So Wendy how did you come up with these incredible books? They are so steamy and gripping that you legit don’t want it to end.

Wendy- I’m never really sure how to answer this question. I just came to me, from my crazy imagination. It was like a layered process. I just write what appeals to me, and hope the same things will appeal to others.

Jazzy- *serious look* So Wendy we heard rumors that you were writing a Novella…Is this true? *excitedly waiting for answer*

Wendy- Nope. Definitely one of those “wishful thinking” rumors. Sorry. Maybe someday!

Meg- *looks at you with sadness* So Kai we all know that you are part demon, but how do you deal with that? Does it ever make you just want to off yourself? *pats his hand*

Kaidan- Never been much for offing myself. The way I dealt with it in the past was to take what I wanted and needed, anytime and anywhere. But once I started attempting to have some self-control...well. That just royally sucks. I’ve had to constantly think of unsettling and unsexy things...like dump trucks and livestock and country western music.

Jazzy- *curious look* So Wendy what made you decide that state for your story to take place? Does it hold a meaning to you in some way?

Wendy- My dad, stepmom, and 17yo little sister Lucy live in Cartersville, Georgia. I love it there, and I thought it would be fun for my little sister to see her town and school in a book. :)

Meg- *stifles a giggle* So Kai our dear friend Jen would love to know what kind of cupcakes you like?

Kaidan- I’m not picky. I’ll eat anything. I like it all. *grins*

Jazzy- *raises eyebrow* Alright Wendy here comes a curve ball….If you could describe Kaidan and Anna in five words what would they be? *jeopardy music playing in the background*

Wendy- Er, um, oh crap. Okay. “A sexy and sweet combination.”

Meg- *Looks at you with awe* So Wendy what kind of advice can you give a new author? Anything they should be wary of?

Wendy- Wow, there’s so much I could say. It’s a lot different than I expected. I would say don’t read reviews. Avoid them like a disease. Focus on interacting with the fans. Don’t expect to make much money, but expend to spend a lot on swag and mailings, lol. Most of all, focus on the positive and make some trusted author friends who you can confide in. Don’t lose your love for creating. If needed, take a break.

Jazzy-*glares at Wendy nicely* so *coughs* why did you only tease us with a bit of Kai at the beginning and then make us suffer without him for half of the book? * Glares at Kai* were you too busy with the ladies to make an appearance mister? *places hands on hips*

Kaidan- Not saying a word. That was not a brilliant time for me. *looks at Wendy*

Wendy- Yeah, that was a hard time for everyone. They had some deep issues to work through. I didn’t want to keep Kai away, trust me.

Meg- * looks at you with adoration* So Kai *bats eyelashes* any secrets about yourself you are willing to share?

Kaidan- Here’s a little something that may freak you out. I can find something attractive about anyone who lusts after me. Yes, anyone. If I see red in their aura, I am bound to feel it in return. What? Don’t judge.

Jazzy- * looks at you with hope* so Wendy can you give a little taste or a teaser for the next book?

Wendy- No. LOL - don’t hate me, haha. I have to take this teaser thing slowly. All I’ll say is that there will be closure. And all my beta readers have cried...

Meg & Jazzy - Thank you both for coming out today and having a chat with us, it was a lot of fun *smiles brightly*

Kaidan- The pleasure was mine.

Wendy- Thanks for having us!

Meg- *hugs both Wendy and Kaidan* it was an honor hosting you two

Kaidan- *holds Meg close, lingering*

Wendy- *pokes Kai in the waist* Get off her.

Kaidan- Sorry. *grins in a lazy way that shows he’s not sorry at all*

Jazzy- *blushes* Kaidan, can I get a kiss on my cheek?

Wendy- Oh, boy. Here we go.

Kaidan- *steps forward and slides one hand behind your head while the other covers your shoulder*

Wendy- Kai…behave.

Kaidan- *ignores* *leans down and breathes against Jazzy’s cheek, closing his eyes before placing a warm kiss on her cheek* How was that, luv?

We both are done for, swooning was just too much for us hahahaha

Amy Plum interview with special guest Jules

Posted by BookGroupies 0 comments
Alright we got to interview one of are all time favorite authors the ever talented Amy Plum *fan girl scream* She is just AMAZING!!!
Amy Plum is author of the International Bestsellers DIE FOR ME (an Indie Next List pick, Romance Times top pick, and recipient of a starred review from School Library Journal), UNTIL I DIE, and IF I SHOULD DIE. The trilogy is accompanied by an eNovella DIE FOR HER.

Now time for the interview :) we hope you all enjoy :)

1). Why did you pick Paris as your setting?
Because Paris is the most romantic city I know, as well as being the most creepy. (I lived there for five years in my twenties, and just moved back last year.) So I couldn’t think of any better place to set an epic romance in the midst of a battle between good and evil.

2). Do you plan on writing another novella?
I had fun writing DIE FOR HER, so would definitely be open to it. Right now I’m working on a new series that has nothing to do with the DIE FOR ME universe, but I wouldn’t mind coming back to the revenant universe.

3). Whose POV do you like writing the best?

Kate’s POV is easiest for me, because her personality is based on my own. That was a clear decision that I made when I started writing the book. People say, “Write what you know,” so since this was my very first try at fiction, I just wrote her from my own voice.

4). If you had to choose between Vincent and Jules, who would it be and why?
I would choose Vincent as a long-term partner and Jules as a short-term (but terribly passionate) romance.

5). While writing this series, was there one song that was inspirational to you?
One of the fun parts of writing the series was polling my fans about which songs THEY wanted. And that’s how I made the playlists for books 2 and 3. But I guess I connect most with KISS ME SLOWLY by Parachute with Lady Antebellum. I used it for my video trailer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upZi8Jbhfys

6). What are your top 5 favorite books?
It changes all the time. Right now I would say:
Mark Helprin’s WINTER’S TALE
Neil Gaiman’s NEVERWHERE
Marilynne Robinson’s HOUSEKEEPING
Marcus Sedgewick’s MIDWINTERBLOOD
William Goldman’s PRINCESS BRIDE
7). What advice would you give to writer starting out?
Read a lot. Write a lot. And once you’re ready, show your writing to a good range of people—not just your peers. Oh, and read Stephen King’s ON WRITING.

8). What would you want your readers to take away from the books?
I like it when my readers identify with Kate, and become stronger with her as the series goes along. I have a daughter, and hope when she grows up that she both as as sensitive and as strong as Kate.

9). How did you come up with the idea to bring Vincent back to life?
I knew I had to bring Vincent back to life, but to be honest, I had no idea how I was going to do it. Thankfully, my Muse had been working out lately, and really took me by the hand to find a solution.

10). If you could experience one thing from the book, what would it be and why?
I would want to see the Guerriseurs’ Cave. Hands-down, that would be the one thing that I would want. (Even though I’m afraid of depths.)

And now for our special guest interview eeeeep *fan girl scream* this was so exciting!!! The ever amazing Jules Marchenoir

1). Do you think you will ever be able to get over Kate, and go back to France?
Some people say it takes a year for a heart to heal. I can’t imagine mine healing in that short of a time. If my kindred need me, I will go back to France. If they don’t, I would rather take my time here in New York and wait for the pain to go away before having to face her—them—again.

2). Why aren’t you on twitter? ;)

Maybe I am. I have had many names in my existence.

3). What is your idea of a romantic date?

Something outside. Since I’m in New York right now, I would say a romantic candlelit dinner on a rooftop terrace overlooking Manhattan. Why? Are you free?

EEEEEEPPP *falls off chair and dies* I will find a plane ticket and will be there in a flash!!!
